Bariatric Surgery Seminars

Nova Weight Loss seminars are free of charge and very informative. We invite you, your friends and family to attend either a group session or a personal one on one session. Simply register on our website by completing the information found under Seminar Registration, at the bottom of this page. A Nova Weight Loss representative will contact you to schedule an appointment; Saturday and evening seminars are available too.

Our Seminars include a Power Point presentation about each procedure, the benefits and possible risks.

A Surgeon and/ or Bariatric Educational Specialist will be available at each Seminar.

Once you have made the decision to move forward, you will be seen by our physician to get the process started. The consult will include an initial consultation and evaluation. A complete history and physical is necessary to become medically cleared for each procedure. During which, we’ll review all current and past medical conditions, as well as any medications, and proceed with any necessary testing required for a safe and speedy procedure.


Our Bariatric Insurance Specialist will gather all the information necessary to submit your eligibility to your insurance company to determine which criteria must be met. If you do not have insurance, financing is available to those who qualify.

Support Group Meetings

Nova Weight Loss offers support group meetings and one on one support with our Registered and Licensed Dietician by appointment.

Our meetings are designed to provide you with the tools to be successful in your weight loss journey. Each support group meeting will cover a different topic and may include guest speakers. Some of the topics covered are:

Recipes for tasty, low fat meals
